Statdle is a daily NHL guessing game. There is one mystery star each day, the same for everyone, drawn from players with a strong peak season on the BluelineMetrics scale.
- You have six guesses to name the mystery player.
- Search any player and submit a guess. Each guess reveals clues comparing your pick with the answer: position, team, peak rating, peak season and debut season.
- Arrows on the numeric clues tell you whether the answer is higher or lower; a green tile means an exact match.
- Use the clues to narrow the field. Guess correctly within six tries to extend your streak, then share your result grid without giving away the answer.
Tip: start with a well-known player from a mid-table team. The team and position clues cut the field fastest, and the peak-season arrow narrows the era. The pool favors players whose best season rated highly, so depth grinders are rarely the answer.
